This project, one of my favorites, it examines the double standard in how women and men are portrayed in the media. The design intentionally alludes to yellow journalism, using a tabloid-style aesthetic to reflect how celebrity narratives are framed and consumed.

While studying abroad and traveling to different cities I have seen a lot of things. Monuments, art, but also how people are glued to their phones. This writing sample explores how technology is quietly changing the way we travel and experience the world.

I wrote this story after working on a documentary about an assisted living community purchased by the University of Alabama. I was intrigued about how this community simultaneously exists on such a lively college campus. I was able to spend time with many of the residents and get to know their stories as well as the purpose behind the staff. One of my most favorite and memorable experiences writing!
